Goal
Set up a vault where Claude reads your notes, writes only where you allow, and can't touch anyone else's.
Why it matters
Every Claude session starts blank. A second brain is a folder of notes Claude can read: your playbooks, your decisions, your client notes. With it, Claude starts from what you know instead of from zero. Wired carelessly, it can also write into notes that aren’t yours, or a script can wipe hundreds of notes and still report success. I found both risks in my own setup, and fixed them.
